Veterinary Internist

Newtown, PA Full-Time Opening Fall/Winter 2026

Friends Veterinary Specialty and Emergency is seeking a motivated and collaborative veterinary internal medicine specialist to join our growing team. We are a 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital in Bucks County, privately owned by local veterinarians, and we are searching for highly motivated veterinary team members.

Our hospital provides advanced diagnostic and medical care, and our internists work closely with emergency, critical care, surgery, neurology, and radiology teams to deliver comprehensive, high-quality treatment for complex medical cases.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of complex internal medicine conditions, including gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, renal, endocrine, immune-mediated, respiratory, and infectious diseases. You will perform advanced diagnostics, including endoscopy, ultrasound-guided procedures, and minimally invasive interventions, while collaborating with referring veterinarians and our in-house teams to develop individualized treatment plans for each patient.

We offer a supportive, collaborative environment, competitive compensation, and opportunities for professional growth, including continuing education and access to advanced diagnostic equipment. Additionally, we hope to offer practice investment opportunities for team members interested in a long-term partnership and shared ownership in the hospital.

If you are passionate about internal medicine, committed to excellent patient care, and enjoy working in a dynamic specialty hospital, we invite you to join our team.
